Cinematic Trailer For A Game That Doesn't Exist

BEYOND BLESSED to not only get 40,000 views in a month but to see hundreds of positive comments from people being excited and wanting to know more about an original IP I am creating. It makes me so happy to work on this knowing that there is an audience out there waiting for it with as much excitement as I have directing this. :folded_hands:t3:

Despite many asking in the comments to make this into a game, it will probably never reach a million views for me to fulfill that promise (who knows ). And while I’m definitely interested in gamedev and have written stories for it, for now, working on the short that this trailer is based will probably be my goal! But in the meantime, if anyone wants to collaborate or invest their time, money or support into this project, please feel free to reach out and DM me. :slightly_smiling_face:

:sparkling_heart:Your support watching, liking or sharing this goes a long way to get this in front of more eyeballs and would mean the world to me!

Hi there @indystry,

Hope you’re well and having a wonderful week so far

Well now I want this to be an actual game! You’ve done such a brilliant job at world creation, emotion animation, and adding in lots of storytelling elements. Just so darn cool to watch through. Plus, the comments under the video all seem super encouraging. Hopefully, it gets enough views to promote an actual game someday

Thank you so much! I wish and hope one day I have the resources to make this game at this quality! :folded_hands:t2:
Until then gonna keep building this world through cinematics :slightly_smiling_face:

Also super happy to find out this got featured on UE’s community spotlight! I didn’t even know until someone brought it up. Would love if the UE social team would notify or inform in the thread here so we can share the spotlight

Hello @indystry !

I know that this is for a game that doesn’t exist, but boy, does this short film make me wish it did. The story’s rich environment and the intrigue alone are enough to make me curious. These dark horror sorts are right up my alley, and I think you have great bones here for something really in-depth.

Keep up the amazing work!

Well, congrats on the spotlight! (Late notification not withstanding)

Just out of curiosity, do you have any other projects in the works for us forum dwellers to look forward too?

Looks great. Good stuff. I’m new to dev so I’ll not offer my sloppy work. But it was still fantastic enough for a comment.
