cinematic record with breakeables

Hello… i.m trying to make a little short fantastic film with unreal… the new feature secuencer is great tool for.this…
and… I want put big explosions on there… wich is fantastic also, but when i want to put, explosions and breaking assets, i dont know how to do it.
because, the breakeables meshes only works when i Hit Play… isnt it?..
maybe recording a explosion whith the impact in asecuence, hitting play, and after … use this shot somehow, in my master film shot?..
