Cinematic Performance Characters - triggerable animation packs

Hi. With the new updates to Sequencer in 4.11, movies and cinematics could be easier made. The new Replay system could be used to design various scenarios. Not even Iclone, a tool made specially for 3D movies, hasn’t the great potential of UE4. So what do I suggest ? - A character that has animations mapped on all the keys of the keyboard. (a new type of character template)

The customer presses Play, and records gameplay with a character. It’s like controlling a real actor on the stage, choosing his next actions. After that, he plays with another character, and in the same time, the first character is in the scene, playing his role.

Now what the keyboard keys could be mapped to ?

Let’s say W,A,S,D makes the character walk

Pressing 1,2,3 or 4 will switch from different types of walks- slow walk, angry walk, happy walk, running etc

Some other keys could be used for various gestures.

Blueprints for facial animation could be already setup for the customer, so he just links his character blend shapes to the system. ( a gesture of anger could be linked to an angry facial expression, both starting in the same time)

Of course, the animations number that could be triggered could be way higher than the number of keys on the keyboard. Pressing F1, F2, F3 changes all the animations. A printable spreadsheet could show all the available actions.

There are some animation packs on the Marketplace. Making them more interactive could be really cool, and this doesn't involve such a big effort from the seller. It's also more fun for the customer, and gives him the chance to test them out all.
