Hi all,
We recently finished our reveal trailer for our title Hell Let Loose - a platoon-based realistic multiplayer first-person shooting game for PC set during the Second World War.
The entire thing was made using sequencer in-engine. The only shot that is not in a real-time environment is the final statue shot, which was rendered in C4D.
We wanted to give the community a sense of the look and feel of the title, without showing too much. Much of the tension and addiction in a title like ours is the sense of dread as you move towards combat - and the first glimpse of the enemy. We looked at the brilliant “entering Juarez” scene in Sicario for reference - particularly the stunning track “The Beast” - to create a sense of dread and excitement while juxtaposing this with long-held, slow-moving shots. We also feel this will allow us to build into much more action-packed content with our gameplay trailer.
