CineCamera How do you put an aim/focus tracking constraint on a bone of a characterBP?

If I put a skeletal mesh just raw into the world outliner I’m good to go. Cine cam has all of the ui needed to hook up to point at a bone, or an empty actor connected to a socket. But once your skel mesh is inside of a BP…the bones are closed off to socket stuff in world outliner. Does this all really have to be done with complex data casting inside of a BP, or am I missing something simple?
