A few years ago I started making a third person crafting/building game as a sub mode of my game/app Cine Tracer. Today Cine Tracer is just a basic creative sandbox game used for storyboarding and I abandoned the actual “game” aspect of it.
I would like to implement Cine Tracer “Freelance” in FN Creative. This is a short demo of how the base game play looked.
Basic object types that you can pick up into your inventory and then “craft” or place to make a complete setup. Basic locomotion, ladders, some basic vehicles like forklifts, carts, etc.
UEFN doesn’t have the exact toolset I need to implement this exact way but I’m pretty sure I can make something comparable as the tools evolve. And the large library of assets and the native multi payer is something I could never have achieved solo.
I’m also pretty decent at making MetaHuman skins and voiced MOCAP animations for them. So I would lean pretty heavily into including them in the game, which I’ve already started testing.
Just some context about what I’m basically pushing towards with UEFN.
