Chronicles of cyberpunk - Deep sleep

Hi all. I want to tell you about my game Chronicles of cyberpunk - Deep sleep, which was in development for a little over 4.5 years and will be released soon.

I still need to finish the save system, add models here and there and test everything, but the end is close. The main thing is that the game can be completed from start to finish and finally made all the people. People are not perfect yet, but better than in the first game. Hope the next one will be even better.

I don’t know when the release will be, but soon. After I fix everything, if something else comes up, I will start making the next game - this will be the final and most epic part of the trilogy, which will finally give answers to all plot questions. This will be the culmination of the whole story and the plans for it are simply grandiose. I really want to start doing it, but first I will finish this game.

According to the plot, this is a direct continuation of the first game, where we learn the truth about the world, we will confront Big Brother and supercomputer, as well as save the world from destruction. The plot develops slowly, but takes on epic proportions towards the end. And I made markers, otherwise in the first game people often did not understand what to do next and where to go.

In general, add the game to your wishlist if it interests you. By the way, it will be free, and the passage will take about 2 hours. I didn’t set out to make it long. It is better to let it be short, but eventful.

Greetings @amazingDeveloper !

I enjoyed viewing the trailer for your game. Your simple, smooth art style and music choice pleasantly reminded me of the 80’s and the “Money for Nothing” video from the band Dire Straits. :raised_hands:t4: :guitar:

I find it really cool that you’ve incorporated hand-drawn images into your game, and I really dig the backstory! I am always up for a good RPG! I’ve added Chronicles of Cyberpunk to my list of games to play in preparation for the release of Deep Sleep.

4.5 years in development is very significant. Was this due to other life obligations? Changes in software? Other project priorities? What are you enjoying the most in this project’s development?

Hello. I’m glad you liked it. From the very beginning I made this game on Unreal Engine 4, but at first I tried to program it on C++. It was difficult because I could not find answers to many questions, but when I switched to blueprints, everything became much easier. I like that in this game I combined many different ideas - locations, plot, characters. It was interesting to see what the end result would be. I already have big plans for the next game.
