Children of character losing mesh, animation, and coordinates

I know I’ve see. Some posts on this but no real solutions.

I have a character bp which I made 2 children of.

Leaving the editor and loading the project they lose the as mentioned in topic.

Everything else is fine.

I went as far as to change the meshes to copies of the mesh so it’s not even the same mesh. Now the transform / coordinates of the mesh reset to engine default… 0 and scale 1 when the parent is different.
