I’m having heavy problems with Child Actor Components. When adding them with the “Add ChildActorComponent” BP node in the Construction Script, it is not shown (but listed in the Scene Outliner). When I run the game, the child is visible, but added a second time to its parent. Sometimes though, the child actor is already visible in the editor and then twice above each other when running the game. If I then remove the part in the BP where I add the component and compile it, the editor crashes.
Any workarounds would be appreciated!
Thank you for the report. I was trying to reproduce your issue, but there are a lot of variables here. Ideally, we would be able to have a specific set of instructions to recreate this issue from a blank slate. Would you be able to provide that to us please?
