Checking texture density

I recall in UDK that I could set the desired pixels per meter texture density, and then there was a render mode that displayed each asset’s density in shades blue-green-red. Is there something similar in UE4?

Shameless bumping this. Is anybody aware of this feature being in UE4?

well the render mode is in the viewport under the ‘lit/unlt’ dropdown as ‘shader complexity’ but i’m not sure about the ‘desired’ ppm… you can change the texture resolution compression in the texture editor, but that would depend on the mesh, yes?

Well the “shader complexity” isn’t really what I’m after as it doesn’t relate to texture density, but… shader complexity. In UDK there was a dropdown in that same viewport that was called “texture density”. And you’re right; I can adjust the mesh’s texture properties on the fly but I’d really like to see how all my mesh’s texture densities compare to each other. It’s sounding like this feature might have been removed from UE4 though?
