I am have been browsing motion capture, and anything that has already been used with unreal engine, is generally very expensive, so I was wondering if there is any motion capture system, maybe under $5,000 that works with unreal engine.

Ipisoft is a cool mocap which only requires one kinect v1. The recorder is free and the studio is £45 which is enough time to get all your mocap done. The files that exported are bvh which can be made into fbx i think. I don’t think they do a face mocap though. I you want both maybe look into brekel mocap. They have a face and body mocap and they are each something like $80.
I use 13 vive trackers in a 15ftx40ft space.
I use VDSuit Full from Virdyn, it cost only from $3199, which is suitable for beginners and people who dont have too much budget. More important, I think it is good for me because the software is free for life and very easy to learn! I dont need to pay for the money. By the way, it support not only UE, but also Unity, Maya, MB, Blender and 3D MAX. I highly recommend.
