Painting with my graphic tablet in the engine. This is really a great idea.
Will denfenitly test this soon, just for fun but i want to see how this works.
Sounds to good, not give it a try.
Thanks! There are many videos about ILIAD (painting plugin), and for EPOS (storyboard plugin) there is just one video, as it’s been released just a month ago. Feel free to explore the YT channel.
Plus, you can also find a guide for both plugins:
ILIAD guide: Iliad
EPOS guide: Welcome to EPOS user documentation! — EPOS 0.1 documentation
We also have a discord server if you need some support: Praxinos-Public
Hi!
These two “Plugins” are looking great . I have special interest in ILIAD, but EPOS seems also truly badass.
I downloaded the beta some time ago, I wonder what is going to be the price of the Release-No Beta version of both Plugins.
Thank you!
Hi! Thanks for your message! ILIAD is part of the permanent free collection, so it will never have a price.
I don’t know yet if it will be the same for EPOS, but let’s hope for it
Wouuu that is just nuts! Congrats! I am gonna start “bugging” some friends, 2D animators and Layout artists, about your two plugins.
Thank you for your quick response and best of luck for EPOS. Seems clear that both Plugins will make a perfect tandem for many artists out there.
Thanks a lot!
Making ILIAD and EPOS a perfect tandem is exactly what we’ve been trying to do
@PraxinosCoop Wow this really looks very impresive.
To get into this it seems like you need time to have fun and create some cool things.
And for permanent free supported with Mega Grant … epic loves good and worthy suff
Haha, thanks! My colleague who did this animatic (Antoine Antin) is a professional 2D animator and storyboard artist. Our plugins, especially the one for storyboarding, are designed for 2D artists who want to enjoy the advantages of Unreal Engine, even if they never used 3D software before.
My crew and I are technicians in the field of 2D animation, so when we started to work with Unreal Engine, it was a true challenge: we wanted to make things as easier as possible for 2D artists who would be in the same position.
Yes you can see that you guys know your stuff.
I am more of the 3D side, i do not understand why i can build anything in ZBrush but not skilled enough to draw a good looking human.
Seems like now i have found a reason to improve my skills on 2D also soon.
Well, I would say humanity was able to build pyramids and cathedrals a while before being able to paint canvas with correct perspectives, so there is nothing to be ashamed of
