Characters scaling


whenever i put my mesh into unreal the proportions are find but when i try to make it into a blueprint it messes up the proprtions.

Can you just set the scale back to 1,1,1 after creating the blueprint? Is the capsule component your root component?

I think it might be a retargeting problem. The character is not scaled down uniformly, the bones seem “crushed” like their offsets are bad (bone length)

thanks, but when i scale it the proportions remain the same thanks though.

Hey @TheTreloarian,

I see you have the Anim Class set to Quinn (or at least a version of). Was this intentional or does your character have it’s own animation blueprint? That can affect the pose.

i just tried to retarget the barb skeleton to manny so i could use the normal animations then i tried to have the game create its own skeleton and whn i use it it just squishes.

You need to use the retarget tool if the proportions are different.
