Characters are 180 flipped when RootMotion is activated in 5.4

Hi There.

I recently switch my project from 5.3 to 5.4. Ans since I did this migration, my animations that are using RootMotion make my characters flipped 180degres in the animation sequence viewer.

That’s very weird and not super practical when come the moment to visualise stuff.

I tried to re-orient the RootBone of my characters, it doesn’t change anything in the better case, in the worst it make the characters go vertically.

Does anybody have the same issue ?

Right now, I’m importing my animation with an initial rotation of 180 on X axis, but if I disable the RootMotion, then the animation is flipped again (logical).

Everything was working fine in 5.3, do you think 5.4 can be part of the issue ?

@Fligoudin I don’t suppose you found the cause of this?
We’ve recently transitioned to 5.4 and our anims are also flipped 180 when root motion is enabled.
