Hello! I honestly started the day thinking this would be a cakewalk… It is so much more complicated.
For ease of communication.
I am trying to hold a Pinball in my FPS characters left hand. When this object gets close to a custom spline (Art Wise, it’s a rail or pinball roller cage).
When close, I’d like to be able to prompt an animation where the Characters Hand moves to the beginning of the Spline and deposits it, the ball then constraining to the spline line.
Pinballs will have different colors. And have physics while in the “Tube”.
Pinballs will have art on them, so rotating / spawning in a different position will be noticeable. Popping to the spline has been a lot.
Or, if the physics ball rolls near the spline, it is automatically added to the rail system.
What is the best practice for this? Especially if it needs multiplayer replication?
