Character to ue4

what things do i need to get my charcter in the engine? I already modeld it and i’m creating bones what else do i need? Like if inwant to use the starter animations?

  1. create the mesh :slight_smile:
  2. rigg it
  3. animate it
  4. export the skeletal mesh + anims
  5. import everything

When does this message appear?

It depends on the type of game :wink:

it appears when i open the editor and the game is fps

  1. Mostly it’s because you havent saved your assets into the content folder :slight_smile:
  2. I think the animation starter pack already has the most commonly used animations for fps included

When you have moved the map or assets into another folder, you will just have to move them back to the original place. When this doesnt work, please post me a screenshot of the message so that I can see the full one :slight_smile:
