[Character] The Photographer - A Studio Sixsquare Production

Hello everyone! My name is James I just founded Sixsquare Studios where the main focus will be on in engine cinematics, web series and shorts revolving strongly around characters and character development. I wanted to share my new studios flagship project called The Photographer. I hope you guys like it and i’ll post more screenshots of her if you guys are interested.

I like it. What program do you use?

Thanks Im glad you like it! I used programs like Zbrush, Marvelous Designer, Quixel Suite for textures, and of course Unreal!
If you guys are also interested in seeing the creation process of the character We put out a Overview/tutorial of the character on our Gumroad page for free! You can download it here.

Are you going to make her available to download in the marketplace?

@jojo8026 This character will not be available for download on the marketplace. I wanted to mainly make her a showcase character. However there is a new character project in the works that will be available for download on the marketplace when its done. That character will be much more optimized and take advantage of all the bells and whistles of 4.11 character rendering features.

Hey there Sizquar3,

She’s a great looking character, well done

Look forward to seeing what you do with the new rendering features!

Thanks for this. I’m looking to level up my character art for my game and will be getting a Zbrush license next month. So I appreciate getting whatever incite I can, especially from a piece that managed to jump over the uncanny valley the very same way Pixar and Naughty Dog has done. Sorry for the praise post. :stuck_out_tongue: Nothing much to contribute except to say thank you.

Thanks for the link at Gumroad and you did a very pro great job on this char, perfect!
For Roadkill, the latest version is the 2.3, right ? Do you use roadkill with the latest 3dsmax?
Thanks in advance

@sbnewsom haha no need to apologize Im glad you think so highly of the project it really means a lot. Im hope the PDF is providing you some nice incite and maybe some tips! Checked out your project and its looking great! Keep up the great work!
@macoll Thank you! And to answer your question I mostly use Max to unwrap, but if Max isnt providing me the unwraps im looking for that when I will use Roadkill, it saves me a lot of time and effort not to mention headaches that Max can create at time haha!

Well done; it’s unique and looks great.

Really great work James. I look forward to seeing the next character!
