Character teleports up game surfaces

I’m using the third-person template. I have edited the camera positioning so that I can use it in an FPS.

My character will teleport up and down any surface in the game level. I’ve tried changing some values like “max step height” and “walkable floor angle” but to no avail. When on top of the level boarder wall and walking off, the character will teleport to the bottom of the wall, then begin to fall.

Any ideas what i’m doing wrong?
