Character sliding off animating skeletal mesh

Hello :slight_smile: So my character slowly “slides off” a skeletal mesh while it’s moving and animated. The skeletal mesh has per poly collision enabled. However, standing on a moving static mesh or one attached to the skeletal mesh works fine.

I am unable to completely eliminate the slide in any efforts
My pawn characterr uses a capsule collision and charactermovement component.

Does anyone have any idea why or which setting would affect this? I want my character to stand on the same relative location while the skeletal mesh it’s standing on is moving and animating.
