Character Scale

I imported my character in using the 32X96X32 with 96 units being the height standard set when we were using UE3 and the UDK…but when I did a little playtest using the UE4 FPS …my character mesh was a lot smaller than the UE4 player Pawn. Is the size/scale for characters different from UE3/UDK? Probably a silly question since my stuff will all be relative to itself in our game…but just wanted to know if anyone knew the answer.

Hey GameHatcher -

You are correct. In UE4, an unreal unit is equal to 1cm by default. You can model directly in real world dimensions and convert to centimeters when importing and you meshes will be scaled to the default assets in UE4.
