Character rotation behaves weird on remote clients (sometimes)

Hi.

We encounter this problem for quite a long time now, but were never able to replicate it on purpose.

The player in the video is not moving; only rotating using the mouse.
The Mesh seems to rotate around the CampsuleComponent

We are currently using the standard character class & movement component.
It is not happening on every remote client; some players think it might be related to lagging.

Has anyone ever had similar issues or does anyone have a clue why this keeps happening now and then?
I can give you any info you want to know in order to track down the problem; I currently have no clue at all …

PS, we are on UE 4.17, but this also happened in 4.16 & even 4.15 I think
