I recently switched the default third person character mesh for a custom human one. Everything else seems to be working fine, but the character is now ‘floating’ several inches off the ground. It began after I used the ‘recursively set translation retargeting skeleton’ option on the bones to make them fit the default animations. I’m not sure why this has happened or where to look to fix it. Any ideas? My initial thought was that it’s thrown off the collision capsule parameters, but I can’t see anything obviously wrong on there.

I finally worked out there were duplicate floors in P and sub level that the character was reacting to. I removed the sub level one and it seems to have fixed the issue. Character now runs directly on the ground.
