Character Movement: Best way to reduce jump "hang in air" time?


What’s the best way to reduce the player character jump “hang” time?
The base jump has a long “hang in air” time and this looks rather bad.
Should I increase the gravity or …?

Yeah, that’s what I’m talking about. I’m trying to get a better feel using the gravity, but is that the only way?

I assume you are talking about the floaty feeling of the default jump settings. You should set the gravity scale in the character movement component to something higher.

Yeah, as far as I know that’s pretty much your only option, or at least the only clean solution.
