I got a animation FBX file from Mixamo.
After import the FBX file on Unreal Engine, I used ‘Animation retargeting’.
That was well made Animation sequence and Animation montages.
This is working well in viewport.
However, when I use “Play Anim Montage” node for playable character, the character’s leg was seendistorted. How can i resolve this?
When you were retargeting your animations, did you retarget all of your IK bones as well? How similar does your IK rig look to the Unreal Mannequin IK rig?
Any additional info you can provide may go a long way in solving your problem!
I tried many way to solve this matter, thus I got a various result.
When I used “Play Animation(mesh)” node, not "Play Anim Montage"node, it was worked well on simulation.
Thus I think this matter that not into IK rig bone or origin animation bone from Mixamo. Because I tried free animation asset provided by market place that work not well too.
Some people tell me the matter that IK to applied on foot is hamper the animation wanted I apply. So if eliminate the IK while behaving, it will solve they said.
But I don’t know the way. Can you tell me the way to eliminate IK to specific act?
