When I use animations from other resources, my character starts to stand in the air. How can this be corrected?
it sounds like the root (or a bone close to root) of the character was not at 0 0 0 when animation was exported . the only way i know of to fix it would be to open the animation in the software you created it in such as blender max or maya and adjust the anim as needed. the issue could also result from importing the animation for another skeleton and not doing the retargeting correctly. if thats what you did then theres videos and docs about skeletal retargeting.
