Character import from Adobe Fuse + Mixamo (Hands Problem)

Hello guys! Sorry for any typos and minor inaccuracies in the description of the problem. English is not my native language. But I will try to do my best to describe the essence of the problem

I successfully created a simple character in Adobe Fuse and created a simple skeleton using Mixamo.

Next, I set the desired matches to the bones of a standard UE4 dummy using Retarget Manager. Put the bones of the UE4 dummy in the desired position (T). I took standard ue4 animations and retargeted them.

With standard animations, everything is generally good - they work fine. Walking, waiting, running, etc. work normally. But!

I moved the attack animation from Paragon: Graystone and retargeted it to a standard dummy. Everything works perfectly - the animation works as it should, but as soon as I try to transfer this animation to my created character, his hands start to hang out like jelly.

So it looks like this:

About 5 hours I tried to figure out what was wrong and could not do it. I don’t have much experience in modeling to create a skeleton from scratch, so I thought maybe I made a mistake somewhere.

Maybe my imported character is missing some bones?
Or maybe it was necessary to put some check mark?

I really hope for your help!

It seems like your skeleton uses Twist Bones - that’s why the wrist is bent oddly. While the wrist bone was likely not correctly re-targeted from the paragon character - and/or the settings for the retargeting of the bone are incorrect.

Rightclick Options, select show retargeting options, then select the wrist twist bone, and take another screenshot for us to see if that’s the case.

Thanks for you respond! I have selected show retargeting option, but cant find wrist twist bone. I have randomly clicked on right hand and set retargeting to Skeleton and gues that slightly improved situation. Maybe we are close to something?

Seems like your whole right section needs to have a different retargeting option set.
perhaps select clavicle, right click, and try out the different options…

Hey! I tryed different retarget with mostly same results. But i have also added fingers retarget which makes its better.

For me worked set Left hand and Right hand translation retargeting to Skeleton, but im not sure what that does. Can you give me little explanation what its doing?

It eliminates animation translation movement of bones by restricting it to the values provided by the skeleton.
