Character flying away on start?

hey im currently starting to learn ue4.

I’ve placed my ThirdPersonCharacter, a player start and watched a couple tutorials how to set it up correctly, but as soon as i click play, my character starts flying across the map.

It’s the collision on the landscape. Is that just a mesh?

Try looking at your level in collision view mode:

I imported my landscape as a tiled landscape and added a plane for testing my character.

If you run it with only the plane and it’s ok, then it’s still the landscape collision I’m afraid…
