Hi, i made my games main character in Maya, i used HumanIk and skinned it to that skeleton, then i retargeted it to the Unreal engine skeletton( (i also changed the base pose to “A” pose).
i want to be able to use the animations that are in the engine + buy som from the marketplace as i am not a good animator, my animations are robotic and twithcy My problem is, it works but the character dosent look right, the chest is kinda pushed forward, and also the knees. Is there anyway to make this look better? I suspect there might be a height difference between the skelettons. Also my character is very low poly compared to the unreal mannequin. Any ideas?
