I just checked this video from Unreal documentation Clothing Tool: Painting you Cloth Asset - YouTube about painting weights in Unreal Engine 4 and I was wondering: would I have to paint the skin weights of my character to his clothing in modeling program. Or I could simply paint the entire influence inside Unreal Engine 4?
Until now, I’ve been using 3ds max to transfer the body skin weights of my character to the clothing and then hand paint the rest of the influence, tweak it until it’s okay.
