So I have a typing montage that triggers when interacting with an object and it looks good enough for me, but I’m unsure how to make the montage play in the right place. I tried putting an arrow and then warping the character’s location/rotation to the arrow’s but it doesn’t really work for some reason.
Here’s the result and what I mean:
Sorry for the low quality but this falling through the ground is what I’m talking about I have one more montage and it basically does the same thing. Also if there are any meshes in the way it clips into the mesh the character is typing on.
scrub through the actual animation and see if there is a frame where the character flys off? Like maybe its moving back to default pose or something on the 0 frame.
If that is the case and that frame is at beginning or end, you can cut it off within in unreal just by right click on the timeline. (thats destructive so only do on a duplicate)
you won’t be able to prevent clipping of the hands unless you implemented hand IK or adjusted the capsule collider to extend to where the hands reach.
