Hello!
This is a topic that has been covered, and I have tried the TIMELINE which everyone seems to suggest, but this does not work for me.
The elevator goes up, the character and its capsule is brought along with it, but, of course, there are collisions that reset because of this.
Any tips/tricks/switches I missed?

i wouldnt use a timeline. sounds like a patch.
try attaching to the elevator.
there are also collision channels, you can set your elevator to not collide with pawn. (once attached). then change on detach (though can have a hitch)

Clever idea, but it still doesn’t work for me.
I tried with and without enabling collision.
If you ever find something out, please don’t hesitate to let me know!

By the way, I meant to stipulate that the character MOVES in the elevator.
If they were still, super easy.
Now I understand why games usually don’t allow movement in the elevator.

I did some research and found that setting the elevator’s class to “PAWN” (NOT DEFAULT PAWN), got rid of the shaking.
This makes sense, because if two characters are attached to one another (let’s say, a father is giving his daughter a piggy-back ride), it would be crazy if they started jerking around.

awesome you found a solution!
yes that would be a collision channel that’d make the pawn not collide with the other pawn, thinking that it’s " itself"
