a friend and I are currently looking for good character (+ rig if possible) for our game project but we can´t find anything that matches our expectations. The art style of our project is realistic and so should be the character. We can rig and animatate the character ourself but the creation is the problem. Since this a no budget project, it would be great if the characters are free and this is one of the main issues we can´t find a matching character. Do you have any hints where we can find good characters to work with? Or is there anyone who wants to work with us?
Get yourself a free copy of Mixamo FUSE … from Steam … that will allow you to create your models and then export them on to an Epic rig that works with all Epic animations. It is what I did.
I have uploaded a Rigg for use in blender that is free to use, It’s not got any characters, but the rigg is there for free use and is a good foundation to work from and has been made to animate with allot easier Link here
