Chapters in game

Hi, I’m working on my own horror game and would like to have my game divided into chapters - similar to Visage. I already have the designs for the chapters etc. ready, but I don’t know how to implement it via Unreal Engine (I’m using 4.27)

Can you please advise me how to create that?

You’re limiting the help you’ll get by referring to an Indie Game with no posted video/visual references. So, for me to understand what you’re saying, I’d need to scrub playthroughs of the game, and that’s VERY time-consuming.

The player picks up an item to start a chapter - e.g. an item important to the character the chapter is about. The information that the player has picked up the item to start the chapter and a dialogue asking if they want to start the chapter is displayed.

If the player wants to start the chapter, he clicks a button and a new chapter will start, for which the player will get, for example, an achievement or something
