Chaos very buggy, physics of mesh acting unusual, difficult setup

I’ve been trying to make Chaos work for the last two days and it’s been a nightmare. I’ve rebuilt source versions for 4.23 and 4.25 many times with Visual Studio, following tutorials, and half the time it doesn’t work and fails to build the project. The times that it does “work” and I can open up a level with Chaos enabled, I get a lot of weird things going on. I have the starter third person shooter level and when I play the scene a few of the static mesh cubes act funny and immediately start moving and wigging out without me doing anything. If i shoot a static mesh cube it spins extra fast and the physics of it bouncing are definitely way off. When I create a Geometry Collection from a cube for Chaos, I can’t break it apart, after I’d set it up just like a tutorial where it did work.

Also when I enable the “FieldSystemEditor” plugin, which Unreal documentation says I have to have on, and restart unreal, then I can’t open the level and it says I have “Missing Modules”

Looking at forums and comments, it seems like a couple people are making it work, but most are running into a lot of issues like me. I don’t know if I’m missing something in the directions, something unique to my computer setup is causing issues, or this really is just a circus show of a not ready beta. This tool looks so cool! I’d love to actually be able to use it.
