Chaos destruction player blueprint problem

Hello,

I am experiencing an issue with my Player Blueprint. I want my Player Mesh to fracture upon collision, but when I check the “simulate physics” box, the mesh fractures immediately upon pressing play. If the box is not checked, there is no fracturing even when colliding with a different object. The question is, how do I prevent my player mesh from fracturing immediately and only have it fracture upon collision with other objects?
