Is it true that chaos cloth does not work together with its own static mesh. Once I let in a plate, I initially imported it as a plate from Unreal and re-imported it as a skelatal mesh, colored it and then tested it on a sphere from Unreal. This seems to work. Collide with Environment, Force Collision Update and Anable per Poly Collision checked. It does but only on a sphere of Unreal itself. Anyone have any idea how I can apply this to my own static mesh? Or does nothing exist for this?
Your static mesh should probably have the same collision settings as the “Unreal” sphere. There is also a self collide checkbox somewhere. Like everything in Unreal, you are a few checkboxes away from the solution. But where are those checkboxes?
It worked but had expected a nicer result. Also, I was hoping you could save without the game mode afterwards. But I certainly had some use for the answer.
