Chaos Cloth caching and render

Hi team,

I’ve been trying to get a sequence out that has some flags with cloth simulation and wind working on it. However, the wind effect in the flags isn’t really showing unless the temporal sample count is set to 1. I’ve been trying to look for ways to cache the simulation and got a result out using this tutorial:

However it was very buggy, the cached simulation getting lost a lot and not always rendering out still in the end as well. Another thing was that I could not really figure out how to use the cached sim on another flag that has the same skeletal mesh and data (just a different material instance). Is this possible? So far when I would use it on another flag , that flag would jump to another location and/or get stretched out so much it was just a thin stripe.

I can’t find a lot of information online about this and was just wondering if there are more people that have gone over this process and/or are able to help out :)!
