Chaos Cache Manager not working in 5.6.1

Hi

the issue is caused by the root proxy mesh that is set on the geometry collection
in 5.6 root proxy don’t play well with caches

in 5.6 and 5.6.1, you can workaround the issue by

  • not checking the “Use Root Proxy“ option when creating the geometry collection ( see screenshot below )
  • or set the “Custom renderer Type” to None in the geometry collection asset

The issue is fixed for the incoming 5.7 release and if you build from source and are interested in taking the fix directly. The Github link to the fix can be found here :
