So I figured that when keyframing the start time on a chaos cache in sequencer, it would be ideal to not have curves on the graph editor since this messes with time interpolation. However even at totally linear, my cached simulation abruptly pops on and animates, despite the recorded simulation being buttery smooth.
Very frustrating, I’ve tried animating instead from 0 to 15, for example, to 1.23 to 15 where cache seems to be stuttering to, but this doesnt look good either. And no this is not a drop frame from my GPUs or anything (two 3060 Ti’s), its just the cache pausing randomly at outset of animation, despite simulation being completely fine and perfectly interpolated. Even when I scoot the keyframes really close together to make it play too fast, the frame jump still happens which is perplexing.
I’m using the anchor / master field method which is pretty standard really. Anyone have any experience with Chaos just not caching how it look in sim?
