Changing the scalability settings in a built game leads to issues with some materials

I’ve created a graphics options menu for my game, and it works as expected within the editor. However, after packaging the game, adjusting the overall scalability option results in the materials of certain meshes being replaced with the default unreal checkerboard material for some reason. How do I fix this?

Yes, same here. When changing the effects scalability to medium or low, the translucent materials change to default checkerboard. Can’t find any solution to this. Any console command for reloading or something?
