Changing parameter in Blueprint with Sequencer

I’m trying to change the color of a Skylight in the sequencer (a gentle transition over a period of around half an hour), but in 4.17 there is a bug preventing the Skylight color change directly in the sequencer.

Wondering how else to go about it - very new to Blueprints. Would it be possible to have the Skylight color look at and replicate the color of another light (or anything else) that can be changed? And if so, how would I update this every frame? I know you can trigger Blueprint events in the sequencer but as far as I understand this only happens at specific keyframes. Any ideas?

I guess this is what I’m looking for but not quite sure how to get it working…
