Changing minimum LOD when added to sequencer

Hi,

I have a BP containing a skeletal mesh, with multiple LODs. The LODs are dictated by a data asset on the skeletal mesh, which is set to a minimum of 2.

My question is; how might I override this to set the min LOD to 1 when adding this character BP into sequencer. The goal is to have higher LODs in cutscenes and lower LODs in gameplay. Ideally it would be a tickbox to check in sequencer.

Using an event which is triggered by sequence director. It works but it would still be nice to find another way, where keyframing the trigger in and out is not required…
