Change the wording on the Preview Launcher website.

Could you please consider changing the wording on the website to have less word vomit and be more concise? It reads like a boring, mindless scroll powerpoint that you really need to focus to find anything of substance in.

Please think of displaying basic features to users who are trying to see if a program is right for them, most users of Epic Games want a platform that allows them to play and develop games, focus on that instead of these meaningless number-better slides that read like a shallow LinkedIn post.

For example:

[01] Cold start 5.47s

New launcher
Fast from the first click.

It opens faster, switches tabs almost instantly, and keeps your recent games one click away. Less waiting, more playing.

New launcher

5.47 s

Steam

10.07 s

1.8x faster startup than Steam*

Is this time metric so important to you? I hate to sound pedantic by telling a software company the obvious, but PC hardware/software is heavily modular, throwing a bunch of numbers means nothing for most people since there’s little chance it applies to them.

Do you guys really need this much text to say “New and optimised layout”? This could be a very important factor for users, but it’s frankly squandered because you are not putting focus on it.

Do you really need to compare yourself to Steam not just this one, but every single slide? The EGS should coexist with other storefronts, GOG, Steam, BattleNET. Trying to become an everything-app “replacement” opens the doors to get replaced yourself.

I mean this with no ill-will, and I really hope you all reconsider and improve the public image of the company, there are many advertising firms that would ask these questions for you and how avoiding the contentious approaches would make the playerbase less confused, or in case of the discussions going on in socials currently, less mad at you.
