Change metahuman body parts in Maya


I would like to know if it is possible to somehow change one part of the metahuman mesh for another.

I have a metahuman, and I have a separate robotic arm mesh. I’d like to trade one of the metahuman’s arms for that robotic arm.

I have tried to bind the robotic arm with the skeleton of the metahuman, and correct the weights, but there are too many bones and it is impossible for me to know which bone is which. Is there any workflow or more way simple to do?

any process, plugin or tip with this or any other software, however intricate it may be, would be very helpful.

I have downloaded the metahuman through Quixel Bridge and I am trying to change it in Maya 2022, because it only allowed me to export it there (apart of Unreal).
