change character mesh and keep animations the same

Hello, I created a character in Blender and rigged it using Mixamo. Now, I want to replace my existing character’s mesh with this new one while keeping the animations unchanged. However, even though I performed the retargeting process, the character remains stuck in the T-pose. How can I fix this?

It’s possible the re target was either not done properly or just didn’t quite work due to the mesh not like king the skeleton. Are you using an animation BP? Or are you calling play animation? Some screenshots of what is wrong along with any code would help

You can use the Retarget pose from mesh, where you just need to set the IK Rig and IK Retargeter, then the Retarget pose from mesh will act as an IK runtime retargeter, using all the anims from a main skeletal mesh to a child skeletal mesh
