Change bone name in physics asset?

Absolute longshot here: wondering if anyone knows if there’s a way to rename/update the skeleton tree inside a physics asset. I’m working with a purchased skeletal mesh and had to rename the root bone, so now the physics asset is incompatable. It’s a very complex setup, so while I can copy paste everything across to a new phat I’m wondering if there’s a faster way?

No. You literally cannot. You have to export, change the bone name, fix the mesh associated vertex group, and re-import.
Then you’d also need to re-target all existing animations, or the one bone in them won’t be moving.

Same idea for root. Minus weight paint. You’d need to retarget everything to the needs skeleton.
