I just made an actor BP but now I’ve realised I might want to possess it… Can I change inherited type or do I have to start fresh
To change inherited blueprint click on “Blueprint Options” button in toolbar, it will open up a new details panel that will allow you to change Parent class for BP.

It is also worth mentioning that you can possess Actor BPs as well! It may take some modification, such as adding a camera component, but any Actor BP can be possessed by a controller, not just pawns or characters.
Woo! Thank you so much ! This saved me having to rebuild my pawn as a character. floating pawn movement component doesn’t automatically replicate like character movement component.
