Change actor automatically in cinematic mode

Hello,

I have a question that maybe is too obvious and I don’t see it.

I’m working on a set with a bunch of actors that contains stylized spotlights with emmissive and reclights per mesh, around 32 meshes per object per actor. To improve performace while working on, I’ve created another variant of the actor whit one gobo aka source texture imitating the 32 meshes.

There is the question, can I change automatically the simple actor for the complex when rendering? Like a LOD but with actors.

I don’t care about the performance when rendering, this will be part of a film, so we won’t need realtime after working on it.
