Flashing color and size is fully customizable. Masking shape is determined by B&W texture.

Mask Blur

Blur intensity is controlling by grayscale texture. Can be used to create an effects like tilt shifting.

Great new effects, keep it up! These masked effects have a big potential.

For the Screen Drop, can you make it like instead of water, there is blood dripping. Also, can ou make a glass shatter effect? like the camera of the viewport has been cracked or shattered

For blood effects, i’m working on new effects completely dedicated to this purpose of usage. So stay tuned :slight_smile: For your last question; i just teased a new effect as ā€œScreen Bulletsā€ with the video preview (Comment no: #103). Is that what you ask for?

That looks awesome. Hoping that the bullet hole and cracks will have exposed parameters. Great job

Currently you can customize the distortion texture, color intensity, distortion intensity, position and size for each individual slot. I’m also working on rotation customization but it’s a little bit of tricky at the moment.

A really wild and crazy idea, Can you make am effect, where a bunch of flies are flying and buzzing in front of the camera, maybe every few seconds some of them even hit the camera. I know it probably doesnt have anything to do with your product effects, just came to my mind today while I was working on a dark, damp, spooky environment

I am playing with these effects in ue4 too and you archieved some interesting results.

I’ve similar effect in production: Screen Particles. Main problem in this kind of effects is getting camera movement and use it as effect pan and rotate. Couldn’t find a stable solution for this yet but that doesn’t mean i wouldn’t : ) Thanks for the suggestion and please keep your suggestions coming.

Quick update: The effect below will be a part of upcoming update as a name ā€œDamageā€. I’ve changed the name because you can also use this effect for screen bloods etc…

Hello. I know its NYE and I don’t mind waiting a bit to get this sorted. I bought Chameleon, downloaded it and added it to a project. But there’s no Blueprint. there are some materials but definitely no blueprint to be found anywhere. So its basically un-usable. Could you please try updating the download link? I really need to get this added to my project.

I’m sure that package on marketplace has all files needed to operate including the Chameleon’s blueprint. I think you are using unsupported version of the engine. Try updating your engine to the latest stable public version (4.10 as i’m writing this) and then try to update Chameleon as well. Let me know if it solves your problem. There’s nothing i can do about corrupted marketplace downloads since its Epic’s business but as i said earlier it’s not the case i think. Thank you and happy new year too!

Hey there, the new effects look great. Do you have any rough idea of when the next update (4.0 I guess?) is coming out? Will the price be going up alongside the update?

Also, regarding the screen bullets effect; is it possible to fade out the effect smoothly? I’ve actually had a few attempts at that effect myself, but I was unable to get it to fade out, it was just an on/off thing.

Glad you like them! It’s planing to be released by the same time as Unreal Engine 4.11 release. All my updates are in this way because i’m also checking my products for any possible compatibility issues with the latest version of the engine. Price will be increased as always. I’ve another update in progress (V5.0) which (hopefully) gives opacity option to all effects independently. It’s a rough operation so i couldn’t included this functionality to upcoming update.
