I’ve posted this mod on the workshop, but wanted to bring it here for more feedback and help:
Currently, it is a simple thermostat that can be placed on a wall. All floors connected to this wall will provide insulation to a player standing on it. It has 3 settings when turned on: heat, air, and neutral. I wish to add larger units with greater insulation bonuses, but wanted to get this up and running to see what people think. This is one of the first mods I ever wanted to make (back in 2015!) so I’m very excited to have finally figured out how to do it.
I would like to restrict this to when the home buff is active, but I simply cannot figure out how that comes into play. If anyone knows how to check for that, please let me know. Otherwise, this is basically heated/cooled flooring.
